OSHAWA, ON - Multiple lanes of eastbound Highway 401 were shut down Sunday night, May 19, in Oshawa following a collision, according to CityNews Everywhere.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said the wreck unfolded near Exit 415 to Stevenson Road shortly before 4:30 p.m.
No information about the events leading up to the accident has been shared, but the OPP indicated that several lanes were blocked off to accommodate an investigation.
About two hours following the OPP's initial report, the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) had responded to the scene.
