TORONTO, ON - Authorities responded to a minor injury collision Sunday afternoon, May 27, in downtown Toronto involving a Toronto Transit Commission bus and another vehicle, reports CP24.
Toronto Police and emergency responders were called to the scene at about 4:30 p.m., near Lower Jarvis Street and Lake Shore Boulevard East, in the city's South Core neighbourhood.
An investigation into the cause of the collision was underway, but preliminary details indicate the TTC bus and the other vehicle collided. The impact downed a light pole and live wires onto the ground.
While two people received treatment for minor injuries at the scene, no one was ultimately transported to a hospital.
Motorists were advised of road closures in the area, which were lifted following the initial investigation.
