Pamela comes to Preszler Injury Lawyers with years of experience fighting for the rights of vulnerable people in our communities. Prior to attending law school, she dedicated her career to building healthy communities; whether she was working with precariously housed people at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, helping at-risk youth living in shelters, or volunteering in jails and other correctional facilities – her focus has always been on advocating for the rights of the most marginalized voices.
After law school, she spent more than 10 years working for insurers as defence counsel. She understands how insurance companies work – how they adjust claims and how they make decisions. Pamela has taken all of this experience and knowledge and returned back to the work she loves most – working for people and not companies. As a lawyer at Preszler Injury Lawyers, she takes on the weight of navigating the complex legal system so injured people can focus on their healing and recovery. She will tirelessly fight to ensure people get the compensation they deserve - using her experience and knowledge from working with insurance companies to be your most fierce champion.
Pamela also has experience conducting workplace investigations into all forms of harassment and defending people in claims of human rights violations, income security cases, and disability appeals. For many years, she volunteered with Pro Bono Ontario in its drop-in centre, on its telephone legal hotline, and as a youth advocate via the Education Project. She recently became an Advisor with the Coach and Advisor Network, a mentoring program provided through the Law Society of Ontario. She is a member of the Governance Committee with The Housing Help Centre in the Greater Toronto Area as well. She has two beautiful children and a beloved Great Dane, Franklin, who fill her life with happiness (and always keep her on her toes). She loves morning runs in the city and spending time with friends.
