Jonathan Lerman fearlessly advocates on behalf of his clients. He represents injured and disabled persons in all areas of personal injury litigation, including motor vehicle accidents, occupiers’ liability, medical malpractice, professional negligence and disability benefits. He has represented clients at all levels of the Ontario justice system and has participated in hundreds of court proceedings across Ontario. Having represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants, Jonathan brings exceptional insight to each claim. He is committed to obtaining the best result for each client.
Jonathan graduated from the University of Toronto (History, Political Science and English) before obtaining his law degree at the University of Windsor. In law school, Jonathan represented clients at the Social Benefits Tribunal, Criminal Injuries Compensation Board and Landlord and Tenant Board. He further distinguished himself in several moot competitions and won the 2005 Justice Thomas Zuber Cup. Upon graduation, Jonathan was awarded the Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP Centennial Prize in Practice Skills for exhibiting an “exceptional ability in the understanding and pursuit of skills essential to a legal practitioner”.
Outside of the office, Jonathan serves on the executive committee of several charitable organizations and enjoys golfing.
Jonathan is a member in good standing of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
