Daniel Bassili

Daniel’s practice is dedicated to recovering compensation for victims of personal injuries and denials of long term disability benefits. He was called to the bar of Ontario in 2013, after graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2012.

Daniel spent the first ten years of his career with a prominent insurance defence firm downtown Toronto.  He has defended complex negligence claims against large corporations, public school boards and the Government of Ontario, as well as professional negligence claims against lawyers, teachers, engineers and medical professionals.  Daniel was preferred counsel to the Lawyers’ Professional Indemnity Company (LawPro), the insurance company which responds to claims against lawyers in Ontario.

Daniel’s experience acting for insurance companies provides him with excellent insight into the civil litigation process on behalf of injured people and their families.

Daniel is bilingual, with French being a heritage language.  He has successfully represented clients both in English and in French.  Daniel has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario.

Outside of the office, Daniel enjoys volunteering, being physically active and spending time by the water.
